Part 1: selection of countertops
The surface of laboratory equipment is generally divided into five materials:
1. Phenolic resin; 2. Epoxy resin; 3, stainless steel; 4. Granite; 5. Tempered glass.
The table is divided into: chemical experimental table, physical experimental table, biological laboratory table.

Chemical laboratory surface:
Chemical laboratory mesa usually choose phenolic resin composite paste panel mesa, phenolic resin solid board mesa, epoxy resin mesa, ceramic mesa.
(1). Composite paste panel mesa
Special 1mm-thick phenolic resin chemistry experiment board is selected as the material. The base board is made of high-quality medium fiber board material. The bottom surface is pasted with ordinary fireproof board of phenolic resin. The composite thickness of the table is 40mm.
(2). Solid core board table
The material is 12.7mm thick phenolic resin board specially used for chemical experiments, with a total thickness of 25.4mm after adding edges. Perimeter chamfer R10mm; High temperature resistance not more than 135℃.

Epoxy resin table top
The material thickness is 13mm, 20mm and 25mm.

Features:
A. 24-hour resistance to strong acid and alkali corrosion;
B. Good abrasion resistance, impact resistance, pollution resistance and no bending;
C. High temperature resistance up to 600℃.

Physical laboratory surface:
Physical laboratory mesa usually choose phenolic resin composite paste panel mesa, natural granite mesa.
(1). Composite paste panel mesa
Material: choose 1mm thick phenolic resin physical experiment special plate, with high temperature resistance, wear resistance, scratch resistance and other characteristics. The base plate is made of high-quality medium fiber board, and the edges are sealed with 2.0mm thick PVC material. The composite thickness of the table is 40mm.
(2). Solid core board table
Material: choose 12.7mm thick phenolic resin board for physical experiment, with high temperature resistance, wear resistance, scratch resistance, anti-static and other characteristics. The total thickness after edging is 25.4mm. Perimeter chamfer R10mm.

Features:
A, with strong wear resistance, impact resistance, pollution resistance, high temperature resistance, anti-static, no bending;
B. The maximum load is 300 kg/m2;
C. Temperature resistance can be used in the environment of -50℃~+40℃.

(3). Natural granite mesa
Thickness: 50mm is selected for the high-temperature platform; 50mm is used for the balance table.
Features: strong mechanical properties and heat resistance; The maximum load is 500 kg/m2.
Disadvantages: radiation, a certain harm to human health, (based on the test report).

Biological laboratory surface:
Stainless steel plate
1.2mm thick 316# stainless steel plate with inner composite plate filling and sealing is selected.

Features:
1. Organic solvent resistance;
2. Inhibit the growth of bacteria and molds;
3. Anti-pollution and easy to clean.

(2) epoxy resin table
The thickness of the material is 20mm and 25mm.

Features:
A. 24-hour resistance to strong acid and alkali corrosion;

C. High temperature resistance up to 600℃.

(3). Tempered glass table
Using 12 mm thick

Part 2: maintenance requirements of countertops
1. Don't cut surfaces with sharp, sharp objects.
2. Do not rotate for long periods at temperatures exceeding 135°C.
3. Do not expose to open flames, molten metal, sparks, or direct sunlight. Do not use as cutting surfaces.
4. The flame of a kerosene or burlap lamp will damage the table, so burlap or burlap lamp should be used on the tripod.
5. The table is recommended to use warm water, acetone or mild nature of the detergent cleaning, can be used to wash hands or washing dishes detergent, do not choose abrasive, strong acid components of the detergent to avoid damage to the surface. For stubborn stains, hypochlorous acid can be dropped on the surface of contaminated corrosion-resistant physical and chemical boards and then washed out.
