Specifications and configuration methods of the test bench
One, experiment platform
The setting and design of laboratory auxiliary facilities such as the central station/desk of the laboratory should ensure the smoothness of the exit and the convenience of activities in the laboratory. The designer should divide the laboratory according to the function of the central station and the location of the main fixed equipment!
1. Classification of test benches
The classification of test benches should follow the following principles:
According to the structure, it is divided into: fixed test bench and combined test bench.
(1) Fixed test bench:
There are many forms of fixed test benches, which are still widely used in China. Commonly used countertops and brick supports of reinforced concrete structure, wooden utensil cabinets under the counter, white tiles, terrazzo, marble or natural granite, etc. are used on the countertops. This kind of laboratory is sturdy, durable, high temperature resistant, and stable. It is often used in overhead platforms, high temperature stoves, and photometric instrument tables.
(2) Combined experiment platform:
Relying on its own structure, it is divided into several independent parts, made separately, and then combined together. Its advantages make it possible to flexibly arrange laboratories, facilitate transportation, and facilitate serial production.
——According to the layout form: straight, L, peninsula, island (see picture);
A font laboratory bench is suitable for small laboratory or large laboratory side bench:
①The L-shaped laboratory bench is arranged in parallel with the two adjacent walls of the laboratory and a maintenance channel is left;
②The central laboratory platform can be island-shaped, which is convenient for staff activities and can quickly access emergency equipment or exits. A peninsula-shaped experimental platform can be used when there are definite exits on both sides or both ends of the laboratory.
For natural lighting laboratories, the experimental bench should not be arranged parallel to the external wall with daylighting windows. For laboratories with greater depth, it is advisable to use a peninsula-shaped at right angles to the external wall and a flat-shaped experimental bench. Avoid placing the flat-shaped laboratory bench under the window.
2. Specifications and uses of the test bench:
The height of the test bench should be 800mm-900mm, the width of the single-sided test bench should be 650mm-800mm, and the width of the double-sided test bench should be 1500mm. The length should be determined according to the specific requirements of the experiment.
(1) Length
The length of the experimental platform required by each experimenter varies greatly due to the different nature of the experiment. For experiments, it should usually be considered that the minimum of 1200mm per person should not be less than 1000mm, and the organic chemistry laboratory bench should be considered longer, which can be 1400mm-1600mm. The length of each person in the American teaching laboratory is 1220mm-1750mm. The length of the laboratory bench required by scientific researchers should take into account the specific requirements of each scientific researcher for their experiments. The United States is 3500mm-4000mm per person, and Germany and Switzerland are 3000mm per person.
(2) Table height
Generally, the height should be 850mm. If the proportion of male experimenters is higher, 900mm can be considered. For some special experiments, it may be lower, for example, the height is about 750mm. The height of laboratory benches in the United States and Germany is 900mm-920mm, and in Japan it is 800mm.
(3) width
The net width of each side of the experimental table should generally be 750mm, and the minimum should not be less than 600mm. The width of the medicine rack on the table can be 200-300mm. The clear width of each side of the American test bench is 584mm, and the two sides are 1470mm. The British double-sided test bench is 1530mm, and the German double-sided test bench is 1550mm-1700mm. It is recommended that the double-sided test bench is 1500mm and the single-sided test bench is 650-850mm.
3. Experimental table top:
Currently, the main countertop materials on the market in my country are as follows:
① wooden countertops;
② Cement stone countertops;
③ Reinforced concrete structure countertop;
④ Steel countertop;
⑤ Synthetic resin countertops;
⑥ Corrosion-resistant physical and chemical board countertops;
⑦ Thin and real mentalized tabletop;
⑧ Whole solid core physical and chemical board countertop;
⑨ Advanced decorative fireproof board countertop;
⑩ TRESAP (Trance board);
⑪ Physical and chemical plywood;
4. Side table of experiment table:
The laboratory bench also has a variety of tabletops, equipped with a corner table, so that it can play the maximum function in a limited space; the combination with the wall cabinet not only fully demonstrates the unity of the laboratory, but also fully increases its practicality. The steel-wood structure side test bench, with a multi-functional combination price, can not only make full use of the space, but also use the side table's own structure to support the laboratory wall cabinet. At the same time, it can be replaced at will according to the needs of experimental research.
5. Test bench spacing:
The clear distance between the side test benches arranged against the walls on both sides shall not be less than 1.50m. When a detox cabinet or laboratory equipment is arranged against one wall, the net distance between it and the laboratory on the other side should not be less than 1.80m.
A conventional laboratory consisting of a standard unit, the clear distance between the side test benches arranged on both sides of the wall and the island or peninsula type central test benches in the middle of the room should not be less than 1.50m.
When arranging detoxification cabinets or laboratory equipment, the clear distance between it and the test bench should not be less than 1.80m, and the clear distance between the end of the test bench and the walkway wall should not be less than 1.20m.
